new OS for 8130?
 

i have the 8130 pearl and i found out after buying it that i am unable to send MMS. i was told that its not in the OS. oh and i have alltel. i now found out that verizon's new 8130's have the mms capabilities. is there a new OS out there that i can install on my phone so that i can use mms?

It is not an OS issue, but a carrier one. I dont know about Alltel, nut your profile says Sprint, and I do know that Sprint doesn't support MMS on BBs, while Verizon does.

i used to have sprint but i changed it to alltel. so its not a OS problem then?

i was told by a tech at alltel that it was due to blackberry dropping the ball on the first models of the 8130 and didnt put in mms options on the phone.
