Empty e-mail folders on BB Curve 9300
 

My BB mirrors my Google mail set-up on my desk top, including folders etc.
Problem: The folders on my BB are empty - I can only ever see messages that are in my inbox. As soon as I move a message on my desk top from the inbox to a folder it disappears on my BB as it is no longer in the inbox and all folders are empty.
How can I see filed e-mails in folders on my BB?

Are you using the Gmail app or do you have your Gmail account setup through BIS?

I thought sub-folders in Mail were a BES thing and not available on BIS.

The set up is via work and I think it is through BES. Does anyone know how to activate the functionality that I need in BES?

Go to Messages > Options > Email Preferences > Menu Key > Folder Redirection and select which folders you want to see.

You won't see any previous mail in these folders, but once the change is made, all mail going forward will show in these folders.

That is what we tried but it did not work... apparently we do not have Microsoft Exchange... although I have no idea what that means to the process...

I suggest downloading and installing the Gmail app on your device.
