interesting, they arent going to be making much on unlocked devices that way. Wonder if the price will shoot up right before hand and they will lose a ton of money.

maybe they already have a shipment, and they have to wait until they are officially released to the public. tiger said that they will be shipping them out the same day that they are launched, I find that hard to believe, but who knws any more.

As I understand it, TMO 3G will be on 1700mhz. So I take it that this unlocked version will not run on TMO 3G at its launch?

They have no devices. They would likely not get them any sooner than your local company AT&T store. I think if you are going to pay full retail, you need to be buying from a store with full refund privilages to be safe.

CTI Miami has it listed for $632.99 and an ETA of July 30th. However I wouldn't hold my breath for that date.

If you put one in your shopping cart and begin the checkout process, it does say ETA: September. Warranty/Exchange does not bother me too much. I can get pretty persuasive if there is a problem with it and they do not want to take it back.

BUT, look at this: The estimated delivery date for the entire order is Dec 26, 2008.

That is on the checkout page, after you update the shipping charges. WTF?!
