hello can yahoo messenger run whit general data plan or i must use BlackBerry data plan ? I have shearch and after i installed an service book of yahoo he don`t tell me anymore "Service not enabled for this handheld" but he only say "Connecting" and the smile is jumping maybe it is some trick to use whit only general plan (I use for the moment IM+ but it is trial an the original yahoo is more ... beatiful) and i don`t care about browsing only mail (gmail and work) and instant messages

You need a BlackBerry Data Plan in order to use Yahoo Messenger. And also for email. A "general" data plan will not work.

You do need a blackberry data plan, to get the service book for yahoo messenger.
Having loaded it, and its now connecting, I suspect that it requires more than the 2G connection your phone has.
Try using it on wi-fi.

i think the problem it is on service book because there was an tutorial for yahoo v2.0 an now the curent version it is 2.5.69 and i think maybe the service book was updated ? i don`t need to try whit wifi if don`t work whit data ... don`t need the yahoo ... i need for travels in train , car , bus ...

after some shearch i need Y!m v2.0 ... and where it is ? i can`t find ...
