Rogers Running v5.0.0.411 issues
Hi
I downloaded a new OS for my bold. It is the swedish version, not the Bell version that I have seen a lot of information on here. I am having two issues i'm hope can be corrected. 1) My contact list keeps disapearing. Is there any fix/reason for this? 2) I use a program called notifylink for my work email, I cannot seem to get it to register anymore. Can anyone help with this? THanks Josh |
Either way, the swedish version, bell version, and the previously leaked version of 5.0.0.411 are all the same

im running the same version on rogers and not experiencing this. try backing everything up. wiping the device and reload.
|
I'm running it on Rogers and I do not have that issue.

No Rogers issues for me.

I thought I had a memory leak, but I see it trending up again, so no issues for me either.

I would do a restore on the BB to your previous OS.. completely wipe your BB with BBSAK, then re-install 411 and see what happens. I can't help in regards to notifylink since I've never used that program before. Best of luck! |
I am not sure about the contact list disapearing. However, when re-registering a Notify client, for a couple of reasons the registration message might not be available. I would have your administrator clear all messages and resend registration message and the try to re-register.

The only oddity I've noticed is that when I am roaming and then come back into Rogers territory, the operator logo doesn't say "Rogers", but rather the mobile network code code "302-720". A battery pull restores the word "Rogers"

Thanks for the help all. I worked with the Notify Link team to get my email running, it was server issues. I reloaded my contacts from yahoo and have not had a problem since.
I do notice that battery life is different now. I no longer get a red bar when I'm low, I go from low to shut off with no warning. Anyone else having this problem? |
