BB 7290 screen isue...
 

I have been very happy with my bb for the past couple of months. But last night i took it out of the holster and there was nothing on the screen - it was blank and the back light wont come on. (you can tell the BB is on because if you press numbers it makes the beep sound).have tried taking the battery out and charging it (the red LED flashes when it is charging.)
any help? before I loose my mind!

Sounds like the display may have failed. It appears to be working except for the screen? If you call it, can you answer it, etc.? If so, you likely lost the display. Probably time for a new device.

Pulling the battery and replacing should reboot it if it is possible.

Falling short of that, your screen might have gone bad? If you can hear keytones, can you dial simply by pressing the green call key twice to your last number dialed? IF that works--at least the BB is working and you "may" have narrowed down the issue to a bad screen.
