Re: ring tones

You should be able to click on the sound and using options shown on the screen indicate your selection to be used as a ring tone.

To use music as the ring tone, in the Phone Ring Tone drop-down list, tap Browse Music. On the Select Music
screen, tap the music that you want to use.

I just went through this with my Android phone. The ringtone worked for the phone and messages, but it was mixed in with the music library and played when I was playing music.

You have to use a file manager to locate the ringtone file and move it to the ringtone folder, which shouldn't be mixed in with your music library. I think the BB uses a ringtone folder. Been awhile.....

Oh, once you move it you will have to reset it so the phone and message apps can find it again.

The older BB's allowed you to move the sound to the ring file but on the BB10 All I did was open the Phone Ring Tone drop-down list, tap Browse Music. On the Select Music
screen, tap the music that you want to use. This worked for me on the Z10 and I dont see why it wont work for the 30
