Unread Message?? Where??

I have a message indicator graphic (yellow/orange envelope) telling me that I have an unread message somewhere on my phone, but I have yet to find it. I have searched every possible email and message tool with no luck.

I use gmail, yahoo, and sms mostly. I also have the facebook app installed.

Any ideas?

Try this : How do I reset my message counter to clear, or zero? - BlackBerryFAQ

ok, have done a few of those and I even re-sent my service books. However, now I am getting a new error.

When I received the above message in blackberry email and tried to browse (using blackberry browser) to this website via the link provided in the email, I get a new error "this is a wifi service. please ensure your device has an active wifi connection and try again"

Ack! I have never had to have a Wi-Fi connection before to view a website using the BB browser.

ok -- fixed the wi-fi error using this (found it here on the forums):

Go to Options >Advanced Options >Browser and make sure that the default browsers are set to "Internet Browser."

battery pull

its a phantom icon, battery pull usually makes it go away and not come back.

I deleted my email accounts, did a battery pull. Phantom message indicator is gone. Re-added my email accounts... everything is now back to normal.

all you needed to do was a battery pull.
its quicker and simpler than deleting and re-adding email accounts

Obviously the battery pull did not work in mine and the OP's situations.
