Icon I Don't Recognise
 

Hi everyone!

I'm a newbie to this forum and have had my first Blackberry for about 3 weeks. A small icon has appeared on my home screen next to my clock (where your message notifications appear).

Its a small blue box with what looks like a white head and shoulders, on the left is some white dots....

Any help would be appreciated

Don't know. It would help if you post a screen shot. But it is almost certainly an alert from one of the apps you installed. Process of elimination.

Maybe a list of the added apps on the phone. someone may know from that.

Could one of you please confirm how to get rid of this icon?
I too have it on my BB and would like to get rid of it.

Click on the notification bar or go into App World or go into your messages and update the BlackBerry ID application.
