Blackberry App World/ Msn Help

Hey guys.

I just got an email from Blackberry today about their Apps world Application giving access to hundreds of games and apps :)

I downloaded it and noticed I can download Msn Messenger.

Ive downloaded this, but it didnt appear in my download box ?

So I went into the download box> into App World> then my world (which gives you a list of all the apps you have downloaded using Apps World.

scroll down to msn> click on that and I am met with the details screen. No where here where I can get it going?

It does tell me how to make sure my phone has the correct configuration which i have done successfully (options>Advanced>host routing table>register now)

So that didnt work I then decided to Left click to bring up my options and there are the following options.

Help>Log In> View Details> Add Review>Recommend>Unistall>Switch Apps>Close

Obviously I have gone into Log In

this brings me to a log in screen with a paypal logo. The app is free though?

Anyhow Ive signed in using my msn I get this message

>Invalid Email or password<

so I try my paypal log in details...

>Please wait while your my world contents are retrieved... (Although I was never given a sign in for My world>)

A few seconds later I get the following msg...

No Applications Are associated with your my world accounts?

WTF am I doing incorrect here I just want to get msn running :(

I dont know.
is Windows live messenger listed in options-advanced -applications?

if so, locate the Instant Messenger folder and it will likely be in there.

Windows live Messenger is In Options>Adanced>applications.

What do I do with it though?

Go to the main app screen, and locate the instant Messaging folder.
look in it and im 95% sure WLM will be in there.
Then you can click on it, and sign in and run it.

LeeUHF 06-24-2009 09:16 AM

do you mean the main apps screen INSIDE of "BB Apps world"?

If so, as mentioned I go into MyWorld which is where all the apps I have downloaded are and its there but as above the options take to me to what I wrote.

MidnightDraven 06-24-2009 09:20 AM

no, the app screen.
when you are on the home screen, you click menu, then theres that screen with all the apps.
the app screen.
there is a folder called instant messaging.

LeeUHF 06-24-2009 09:24 AM

Not there bro! they usually drop into the "Download" box inside the menue when ive downloaded them and they have to be moved manually, This is not there Its only shown as one of my successfull instals within BB App World.(Which is located in my downloads folder)

LeeUHF 06-24-2009 09:24 AM

I have downloaded a couple of other applications using this and they are working fine and appear in my apps screen when moved from the download box.

MidnightDraven 06-24-2009 09:26 AM

so there isnt a folder called instant messaging, or its not in the folder called instant messaging?

try a battery pull

LeeUHF 06-24-2009 09:31 AM

"locate the instant Messaging folder.
look in it"
this is what I originally posted. yes IN the folder.
As it is an instant messaging program by RIM it knows where to put it!

LeeUHF 06-24-2009 09:52 AM

My bad, yeah Its in the instant messaging folder, I was expecting it to drop just as a download like everything else.

Works now too, big up for that man

MidnightDraven 06-24-2009 10:06 AM
