"Connector Specific Error" Message while Syncing Contacts
 

While syncing contacts between my Windows Vista Contacts and Storm (using Blackberry Desktop version 4.7), I continually recieve an error message stating a "Connector Specific Error" has occured at the "Processing Device Address Book" stage of the process.

I have searched for any possible fix with no luck!

The contacts will sync to a point (like through the L's...) and then the process stops. I have deleted every contact from the Storm, then tried syncing. I have deleted contacts from my computer and then synced to see if there was a corrupt file in there somewhere... All with no luck. And now, in the process, I've lost 1/4 of my contacts due to my error. (Not to mention about 15 hours of frustration...)

Any help that you can offer would be very much appreciated! I'm new to black berry and not completely familiar with all the ins and outs just yet...

try going into backup and restore>advanced> and find the contact entries in the database and clear the contact databases off your BB and try syncing again.

i try it but he stops in the middle?
