RAPI.dll Error after Reboot of BES
 

Wierd issue.....

Rebooted my server due to all of my Asian Pacific users and all of my UK users reporting they were unable to send emails anymore starting last night.

All my users in the US and Canada were fine so far.

Started blackberry manager and boom got this error:

Anybody else seen this issue or why its happens?

I haven't seen that before though I'd probably do as suggested and reinstall it or run the next service pack of you're not completely up to date.

Did you find out what error they got when trying to send?
You should see a red cross instead of a tick; open the message and see what error you get at the top.
That normally is a pretty good indicator of where the problem is.

They are reporting all is working now..but not sure if it was cause of the reboot or if it was a connection issue out there or something.

I just upgraded the server last week to 4.1.6.....thats the only changes I have made recently.

I noticed my event log is flooded with this error message since 9am this morning.

Could this be related?

[SERVICE_RELAY_SESSION: xxxxxxxxxx:009923d0] Service transaction not found. SERVICESESSION_TAG=12925577

I've seen this error on occasions in the event log and have posted several times on the forums about it...but unfort nobody here seems to know. All other posts regarding this error were never answered.


Also seeing problems with adding/removing users from the BES since i've upgraded. Users are taking extreme amount of time to be purged by the server and adding is taking just as long. Minimum of 1 to 1.5 hours.

oh bah....Well I found one problem.

The Borg who are assimulating us (err i mean the company who just purchased the company I work for) took all our blackberry licenses for thier server. So my servers were out of license!

black tape his/her mouse and swap keys on his/her keyboard and put silly putty on the reciever of his/her desk phone.:razz:

Oh she told me she would take some since they were low and i had extras.....

but taking ALL of them and leaving me nothing wasn't what I had in mind!


The RAPI.dll error seem to go away now.

But the event logs are being spammed with that other error
