Letter changed

I was working today and had my blackberry in my pocket for 10 hours. When I took it out of my pocket my letters were changed.

For instance: when I type E and my writes OE. Or I type a L and it writes LS. Please help me! I'm clueless! Thanks!

First thing to try is popping the battery out and then back in.
And a question - was the BlackBerry dropped or did it get wet or even damp?

Sounds like moisture damage from being in a pocket for 10 hours.

Okay, could very well be because I work in a moist enviroment. But I did not drop is or put it in water or something.

Take off the back cover, take out the battery and put the BlackBerry (without the battery) in a sealed bag of rice for a few days (not hours) to try and draw the water out. It may be too late, but could help.
