Facebook won't upgrade to v2.0
I have a bb curve 8520, I am currently using the older app for facebook (one before 2.0) now I am trying to upgrade to v2.0 and it just wouldn't happen! every time they would tell me that my phone does not support facebook which is wring. Many people have the same problem on the app review in app world. Anyone with a solution?
Also many people are dissing the new version, if I upgraded and didn't like it, is there a way to downgrade back the older one? Any help would be appreciated :) |
Re: Facebook won't upgrade to v2.0
I have a 9550 and upgraded to the new FB on Appworld. Not sure I understand the complaints. It seems much more functional that the old version. Still no groups tab...my only issue.

Only people with 8520 seem to be having the problem.

I have an 8520 and I have no issues with it. Have you updated your OS lately? I'm running 5.0.0.973. Has your signal been flaky lately?

Re: Facebook won't upgrade to v2.0
In Pakistan GOP block downloading Facebook. The BB Browser is already blocked. the cellular companies still giving connection, charging BB full charges but providing their own wap browser and services which is moving like donkey cart Browsing are also problem. Connecting to FB is problem 500 and 504 error. The customers realizing that cellular companies making them Fools. In these circumstances when BB services are not Available or Ban in Pakistan why the black berry is not roll back their service in Pakistan? The present bluffing and fooling BB pak customers will destroy the image of BB in Pakistan. BB will lose the 200 million people of Pakistan.
