BB Cal -> Exchange sync failure
 

Hi..
I have had a quick search but unsure what to search for.. I have search AND googled the contents of the logs, but it seems that I'm the only one that gets this error! :cry:

First off, I work in an enterprise environment. We have Exchange 2010 (up to date), BES Express 5, (latest build). CDO 1.21
The issue I'm having for the purpose of this thread, is that calender entries are not syncing from the BB to Exchange.
Looking at the ALRT logs, there are loads of the following:-

[Alarm::ActivateAlarm] Queuing alarm: <N/A> | BlackBerry Messaging Agent stv-bes-048 Agent 1 (Application Event Log on STV-BES-048.local.DOMAINNAME) | 01/12/2015 00:19:55 (AFFF4EF8) -> {EMAIL ADDRESS} Synchronize() failed: ERR_FAIL, Tag=691270

and '000s of these fromn the MAGT log file.

40000] (01/12 00:00:04.943):{0x1508} {EMAIL ADDRESS}-Skip appointment Fri Mar 06 09:30:00 2015 RefID -749789357 which falls outside the sync period
[40000] (01/12 00:00:04.943):{0x1508} {EMAIL ADDRESS}-Skip appointment Wed May 13 09:30:00 2015 RefID -539843298 which falls outside the sync period

Are these errors, and are they the reason why the calenders are not syncing with Exchange?

yes, you need to search for invalid appointments, and erase all from the outlook, i resolve it searching for some characters like #¬> etc or space in the appointment,

try it and confirm!!
