Z30 To Verizon in November

BlackBerry Z30 hits Verizon in November for $200

$200 on contract, and Verizon has a U.S. exclusive. No further details (yet). (y)

Should be $49 on contract if they want to sell it.

The article in PCMAG states it's a great phone but does not go beyond that. It suggests Blackberry is not a good buy because of limited Apps and other issues with the company.

I for one have a 9810 that supports everything i need but the Z10 I have does not have the Apps i need and have on the 9810 like Onstar control etc.

Frustrating.

It's like watching a train wreck in slow motion.
Well, we shall see on Monday if there is a deal with FFX.

Re: Z30 To Verizon in November

Getting the developers on board is always the trick. If the platform is in decline the devs bail. That means less apps, and less sales. It's a vicious circle.

I was particularly disappointed that Chase Bank not only decided not to have a BB10 app, but also withdrew support for BB7/6/5. That blows! Some other banks have decided to support the platform with fresh BB10 apps so hopefully this will convince Chase to do the same.

I would also love a Starbucks app but I found that taking a picture of the barcode on the app on my iPhone works for paying on my BlackBerrys. I don't get the info like balance, rewards, etc, but the picture scans at the register just like if it was an app.

Seems like I read that it would be offered at $149.99 with a $50 mail-rebate. Can't find a source right now.
