I have a 8130 from Verizon.
I have a 4GB MicroSD ScanDisk card.
I have formatted the card in the 8130.
I have loaded my music from Music Match Jukebox to a folder on my desktop.
I then used the BB Desktop manager to download said music to my 4GB card.
I followed all of the instructions to a T from the Verizon website below
Search Results- Audio, music, picture and video files will not transfer to my wireless device. How do I resolve this?
I can only get a fraction of the music that I downloaded to show up in the media player. The card shows up and the 8130 shows me how much memory is still left on it. I am completely confused as to why I can not access the rest of the music. Any help in this area would be greatly appreciated.

Upgraded to the latest version of the OS?

Sorry I forgot to post that.

I have heard others complain about missing music but that was on the 8 GB card. Others have said that it takes about 10-15 minutes for the BB to parse all the music and they had to leave the media player open until they showed up.
How may songs do you have on the card?
When you transfered them did you choose "Convert for Optimal Playback"?
Are any of the songs copy protected from use on other players?

Well that is the weirdest thing.
I just reopened the media player and low and behold all of the songs were there.
It's been a week of trying to make them materialize and then as if by magic here they are.
To answer some questions, I have 700 songs, and I did "Convert for Optimal Playback"

Love the website, even though I am confused that the music all of a sudden showed up.

No problem and welcome to the forums.
I am not sure how long it takes, I guess it depends on how many songs and their lengths. But the BB needs to parse all the songs and catagorize them by artist, type and such. Since the BB processor is no where near as fast as a PC it takes longer. Glad they are all showing now.
