Re: President Obama and Evolution
Is Windows 10 that bad? I use a Mac at home and have Windows 7 on the company laptop so no experience with 10.

Re: President Obama and Evolution
STAY away from Windows 10.
I have a HP laptop and a Dell. Problems display overlap on various web pages causing the screen to be unreadable WIFI drops constantly Intel has no fix and Microsoft has none Graphics drivers from various companys cause issues. no fix Microsoft claims the PC company did not test the release before it was released. All the company's claim Microsoft did not wait to release the product before offering it to the public. Basically it was pushed. Upgrades fail and Microsoft support ( which I called multiple times) first said my mother board was loose ( both computers). then said they were over heating. then said the drivers supplied by the pc company were outdated. then told me to reload the software and not use software from the pre 10 release (????) to which I replied no. The final call was the best. They blamed the PC company's for the problems and suggested I revert back to Windows 7 but they would not support on the computers. I asked for how long would 7 still be supported and was then told that answer was not available Still want to move to 10. do an internet search for issues with 10 During this post the WIFI dropped 3 times. fortunately it does not always loose the web page or what I was working on. Aggravation continues |

Re: President Obama and Evolution
Windows still has issues and after the supposed anniversary upgrade edition it is worse.
I listed the issues in the Microsoft support site and so far moths later absolutely zero reply's from any Microsoft support person. |

Re: President Obama and Evolution
Yea and vendors are pushing the cloud to hide the issues. I am waiting for the next big cloud hack. Should be interesting as to what data is stolen what country actually did it.
I tell people the cloud is not secure and anyone who says it is is either lying or very stupid. |
Re: President Obama and Evolution
I suspect the majority of people do not realize the cloud service is totally unsecure. All Google and Microsoft are doing is reducing the PC local data and searching the cloud data for sales and other information.
As new anti virus software emerges blocking data extraction from users they get more and more secret in what and how they are collecting data. Think anyone really reads the service agreements? |

Cloud makes it too easy to share stuff you don't want shared

Re: President Obama and Evolution
The real issue is that it appears you have limited control over who can access information due the structure of the "cloud." On the other hand it likely does not matter due to all the backdoors installed in equipment now a days.

Looks like the someone has found the carriers using customer search and other data to sell to various marketing companys. Hard to believe anyone would look at the places people go on the internet.

Activity like this should be punished by public hanging using the short drop and then letting them rot on the rope. |
Re: President Obama and Evolution
With the fines in the millions it does not seem to stop or slow down any of them. even the robo calls which are supposed to be blockable by consumers does not work. People with a certain number of minutes on their cell phones end up paying for the excess calls. The carriers wont do anything because they reap the rewards with over charges
