Problem with BerryBuzz

I had a heck of a time getting it to work right when I first bought it last August, but liked it once it was set up correctly. There was some kind of issue with the trial version vs. the paid version which I had or something.
Anyhow, it abruptly "disappeared" from my phone recently; i.e. no longer received custom LED notifications, audible reminders etc. Hmmm....
So I went to the App Store, bought it again (it's *only* 5 bucks) and still having problems getting it to work on my phone! :x
I have the BerryBuzz in my Options folder and it lets me set it up with the customized LED colors etc. etc BUT does not actually do anything at all like it's not even downloaded.
Tried to register it and it doesn't "recognize" the number that I was given by MobiHand on the invoice! Grrrr....
Anyone experience this problem or have any ideas? Waiting to hear from BerryBuzz support....

Please...not everyone at once!
Actually, my phone is now not even ringing reliably so I'm basically just waiting for the first opportunity to upgrade my phone.
Bye, bye Blackberry! (n)(n)

Have you changed your ringtone/LED/Vibrate settings in each of your Profiles? Did you first disable the built-in, native ringtones/LED/vibrate settings for Phone/Email/SMS/etc and set the custom BerryBuzz equivalents instead, as per instructions?

Do you have much experience with installing and configuring other 3rd party applications on your BlackBerry?

Have you done a battery pull lately?

Yes, I have done all this. The problem is the activation code that does NOT work. Yes, I provided the correct PIN from my phone.

Well, I'm not a BB expert (shouldn't have to be should I?) I had BerryBuzz installed and was using it before so I was able to do it before...although it was a hassle then too. Can't get it to work this time though.

Yeah, I've found that I need to do that more frequently...is this a special BB "feature"? At least it gets my regular ring tone back. At this point I'm over the BB quirks and annoying behavior. Fortunately, there are some very nice NON BB alternatives. BTW, I was able to just get a refund from Mobihand for the BerryBuzz app.

OK, two possibilities then, since your code worked before and doesn't now.

First, did you change phones between the time that your code worked and now where the code doesn't work? BerryBuzz keys are tied to your phone's PIN, which is unique to each Blackberry. Tying registration keys to PIN's is a standard practice for for registration keys.

Second, assuming that you did not change phones, is it possible that the first time around, you used BerryBuzz version 1.x and now you are trying to use the v1.x key with version 2.x? Because v2.x is considered a major upgrade over v1.x, Bellshare changed the registration key system. That is, even if you are using the same phone (and therefore same PIN number), the key is different. There is an upgrade fee (less cost than buying v2.x as a first time registrant) to upgrade from v1.x to v2.x.

If this applies to you, and you decide you don't want to pay the upgrade fee nor do you wish to purchase the new version, you may want to look around and see if you can still find version 1.x somewhere and use your key with that.

I saved you some time and searched for you. You can download version 1 via OTA link:
