4.1.4 MR1 for GW out
 

Saw 4.1.4 Mr1 for Groupwise appear yesterday
was not able to download immidiately, and now it's been pulled again
i'm so not surprised anymore :-o

Has anybody been able to snatch it while it was up?
even if just the release notes??

They have the release notes for MR1. Wish they could fix the shared address books once and for all. Livelink - Redirection

Okay, first issue noticed. Some of the BRK tools don't work. Specifically the EAstatus tool. It's looking for version 4.1.4 of the messaging agent (which gets upgraded to version 4.1.4.18) and just errors out. I emailed RIM and I'll see what their response will be.

Yep - I just grabbed 4.1.4 MR1 but am a little worried about installing. I'm happy with what I see in the release notes though.

Wireless synchronization

SDR 127431 - In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP4, the Office Number field in the Address Book did not synchronize to the Work Number field on the BlackBerry device. In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP4 MR1 and later, this issue is resolved.

Okay so it looks as though everything is working okay. My issue with the BRK tools was fixed, namely the EAStats tool. I ended up changing the name format from firstname lastname to lastname, firstname.
That seemed to fix my problem, although I do find it odd that it used to work just fine using the firstname lastname format. Even RIM didn't know what to tell me, just another BESG feature I guess. :smile:

Upgraded to 4.1.4 MR1. Went very smooth. Still testing the Office Number field in the Address Book synch to the Work Number field on the BlackBerry device.

Anyone else apply this MR? Wondering if there are any major changes/fixes.
