Moving BES 5.0.1 and BES SQL Database to New BES Server Hardware
 

I am trying to move our current BES environment to some new hardware we have purchased.

Our current set-up is:

- BES 5.0.1 installed on Server 2003 R2
- SQL Database (Not Express) stored locally on BES server

Can anyone please provide a guide of a step by step tutorial as to the best method of moving the database form the old to new servers? And the installation options I should choose when installing BES 5.0.1 on the new server.

Also does it matter if the current BES sits on SQL 2005 and the new BES is going to have SQL 2005 Express? Does anyone know of any database limitations SQL 2005 express may have?

You can move SQL database fairly easy then install BES on new hardware.
