Loss of signal strength

More often lately my BB 9000 loses its signal showing the SOS symbol.
I only ever carry this in my pocket and the situation occurs when out and about.
There is no steel in the construction of my home and I'm blowed why it also happens outdoors.

While in a spot where you have lost signal, do a hard reset and see what happens.

A hard reset is removing the battery while power is on, for 30 seconds or more.
