BIS Outage 8/8/08
 

Geez, I havent gotten my email in over an hour, and VZW's BIS site isn't sending service books! "Processing, please wait..."

Anyone else?

Said it sent the service books, but I haven't received them on my device yet.

I haven't had any email but the web is working fine.

And Gtalk works, too.

I sent myself a couple of emails from my PC to gmail and my vzw.blackberry.net address -- they are not coming through yet. Usually they are instant. But my data apps, and internet are working.

I just got a few messages after I hung up a phone call... Still no service books I sent earlier.

I am having no issues, getting all email and data services.

Outside Chicago

No Gmail here on TMobile. All other services working. A diagnostics said everything was working except GMail address. I don't have any other BIS accounts, though.

Just sent a test message to my BIS Gmail account, and it does appear to be down. Also sent a test to @vzw.blackberry account, and it also seems to be down.

All my email is down, including yahoo and my VZW BIS account. I got my service books a few mins ago.

I'm going to bed, assuming everything will be a-ok tomorrow.

My emails just started coming through.

Same here, e-mail's been screwy all day...on both my Hotmail and Gmail accounts (I'm on Verizon BIS 2.5). Mostly none of the e-mails have been coming through on time if at all. Sent a bunch of test e-mails to and from both accounts and they rarely arrived on time (again, if at all). Just tried again now (1:38 AM EST) and still NOTHING is coming through from my test e-mails. WTF is going on?

I just got a whole load of emails a few minutes ago. I'm guessing the problem is fixed and they are bringing it back slowly.

I also have started getting all of my emails.

still not getting them on mine...I'm in southern CT. Any ideas??

I'm still not receiving any BIS messages. I opened a ticket with Verizon yesterday, and they haven't sent me a resolution notice, so I guess they're still working on it.

I've been getting my GMail since late last night....

Alright gmail is working but not hotmail. I have readded the acct, resent books, nothing works...still can't receive emails on it. anyone else??
