Connecting BB Desktop Manager to BB 8900 through Bluetooth on Dell E6400
 

Hi all.
I am trying to use BB Desktop software with my BB 8900 via Dell E6400 integrated Bluetooth.
Now I can connect only by USB and it works fine but if I open the BB Device Manager and I enable Bluetooth support it cannot see my BB 8900.
I also sow on BB web site that maybe BB Device Software 4.5 must be installed on my telephone but after checking the PIN on the website the result is that it is not supported.
any suggestion ?
(PS I am using BES and also I can use BB via bluetoth only as a remote modem and headset but in particular I need to transfer files with BB. )

You'll need to use the Windows native drivers for your bluetooth, not the ones from Dell.

Check which operating system you have (XP, Vista, Win7) then do a search in the forums for bluetooth drivers.

As this is my company laptop and I cannot change drivers (no admin ) is there some other workaround ?
