Android Apps - new possibilities?
 

Theres been mention of the update allowing greater access to Android Apps - does anyone know what this means in practice? Will existing ones now be available on App World? (...and I suppose, will we continue to be ripped off by paying for those otherwise free/ cheaper on Android?)

You can open up multiple Android apps in their own windows, you can make in app Android purchases.

Only Android apps available on App World are the ones that have been ported over.

- Android apps will now be run in separate windows instead of one window for every Android app
- Android apps will now have the ability to use the PlayBook camera

Thanks. Thought perhaps we would see a tranche of new android apps appearing in App World. Still, the changes that you outline are welcome.

May have to wait a bit more (until BB10 is almost or ready to drop) to see a host of other apps from Android.
