When the Bold is displayed for sale in my local AT&T outlet store, then I'll believe that AT&T is finally doing the Bold launch.

Yesterday I passed a Best Buy Mobile store with signs on the door saying they'll be selling the Bold on 10/27.

I don't know update firmware, or update version :(

I am pretty sure AT&T Bolds will be launching with App version .167. As to whether or not it's in stores on Oct 27 remains to be seen. :)

Stopped by 2 Corp ATT stores this evening to try to reserve a Bold for Monday. One store had no clue what I was talking about. Heard there was a new BB coming sometime but no name or time. The other said Monday, but not holding it for anyone. Best Buy also said Monday.

Will believe it when I see it however.

im pretty sure that youll find someone who is willing to sell the phone for 200-250... 299 is just the price if you were to pick it up at a cooperate store, i know a couple places in the oc thatll give it up for 250 with an upgrade, a new line and youll get it for even cheaper....

So everyone is getting on line on the 27th in anticipation of the release on the 4th, right?

I told the kid she could have my curve if she got straight A's on her report cards. First time she EVER did that!!! So now I'm shopping. How much improvement over the curve is the bold supposed to be? 3G the biggest change? I'd like video recording and easier blue toothing. I did like the idea of the night stand I saw for the bold that turns it into a stand up close for beside the bed. Saw that months ago. Still havent seen a bold yet though!!

Ive only had my BB 8330 for a couple months (first BB ever and I love it). Whats really starting to tick me off is how new models come out for certain providers over others, or there are waiting periods for one provider to offer a particular model. For instance, I was hearing rumors about the BB Bold before I heard about the BB Storm (maybe it wasnt announced this way, but thats how I became aware of these upcoming BB phones). My provider, VZW is now doing some fairly heavy advertising (lame commercial btw) about the upcoming release of the BB Storm. There is a tiny bit of information available on Cell Phones, Cell Phone Plans, Cell Phone Accessories - Verizon Wireless about the Storm, but absolutely NO mention of the BB Bold ever being available from Verizon. As I weigh which model I would like to upgrade to I have to say I'm thinking I'd rather have a Bold than a Storm. But I'm starting to think that won't even be an option for me on Verizon. And if it ever is, I'm sure its going to be several, several months from now. Grrrr, this makes me angry.
