BES10 / Exchange 2010 can't open attachments on Q10
 

Howdy.
I have a simple environment:
1 BES10 server v10.2
1 Exchange 2010 PS3 RU4

If I use my Q10 with straight activesync, everything works perfectly.
If I activate my Q10 on BES10, I can't download attachments (all types, and typically ones that are larger than ~30KB).

The blue progress bar starts, but stops quickly. Sometimes I'll get "attachment cannot be downloaded" or no error message at all.

I even installed a 2nd BES10 server, with the same results.
Tried 2 other Q10 devices.. same results.

BB tech support has really gone downhill, they have no idea why this is happening, have just closed the case. Wondering if anyone here has any advice?

have you looked at the EAS logs?
Exchange ActiveSync testing and setup with BB10 - BlackBerry Support Community Forums

I have the EAS logs - they are pretty cryptic. What should I be looking for in there to identify issues opening attachments? The word "error" doesn't appear at all in the log.

One other thing (probably not important, but I'll mention it anyway)...
I do have 1 BES5 server (completely different animal, I know), with dozens of BBs on it, working perfectly fine.
