retrieving saved emails/messages
 

Howdy,
I have an 8330 Curve that is dying, so I swapped it out with a spare device (same model). The End User had some saved messages in the message folder that I wasn't alerted to until after I'd activated data on the spare/loaner.

I was able to transfer all their photos, voice notes etc... but not the save messages. The messages appear to be SMS and have picture attachments. Now that the old device is no longer active, I can't fwd them, and the activation process only dumped the prior 2 weeks worth of email onto the new/spare device - all the saved messages are more than 2 weeks old - so they are not within the "saved messages" on the newly activated device.

I did run a full back up using BB Desktop Mgr (5.0) so wondering if they may be there somewhere? If not, is there any other option for retrieving them?
I have the old device stashed and have not wiped it as yet.

Both devices are on 4.5 OS. We're on BES 5.0.2 and my BB Desktop Mgr is 5.0
