speed dial outgoing calls show up as unknown caller
 

Hello

I have been accused by a person as a stalker, I have been butt dialing lots of people in my contact file, I just now found out that all of them were in a speed dial file, how they even got a speed dial assigned to them was unknown to me until I read the directions, and found a speed dial file. The party who is accusing me of this said that I dialed her and then my repeated calls came in as 'unknown caller or unknown number. I have been very careless with this Balckberry phone, shoving it in my pocket, my golf bag, or my fanny pack as I ride my motorcycle. I have known that I was butt dialing people but did not worry about it figuring everybidy did it.
My questions is; how did I come up as unknow caller to her phone after butt dialing her, and my name coming after the first butt dial?
Please help as I did not intend doing this to her. I have only recenlty found out that I could have been locking my keyboard down.

Not good. You need to pay attention to what your doing before you end up in a lot more trouble than having someone say your stalking them. Locking the keyboard and watching where the BB is will help.

Unless you stop being brainless you could end up with criminal or legal charges.

Thanks for you help, I have purchased a new phone. I was wondering if there was anybody else out there who has had a similar problem, where butt dialing a person got them in hot water with the police. thanks

in todays PC world i'm sure someone has. I would just avoid it.
