I am having 3g connection problem on this phone,at my house there is 3g connection but i dont get it on my phone,On my cousins blackberry hes got 3g and on my iphone i have 3g so how come i dont get it on my curve?please help

The 8520 is not 3G capable. It is EDGE only.

i got the 9300 not 8520.i know it says 8520 on my profile thing but i dont know how to change it.

Look at the top of blackberryforums, it will say "USERCP" click it, then EDIT PROFILE on the left.

What connection ARE you getting?
Are the other people you referenced on the same carrier/service provider as you?
Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan from your carrier?

im just getting gprs where as other people are getting 3g
yes they are all on o2
also yes i do

Re-register using the hot routing table and do a battery pull.

Was it able to get 3G previously?

nope i hardly get any 3g connection at all

i re registered and done the battery pull thing,i got a 3g connection for a minute then it went again

Might try a new SIM card and see if that works.
