Re: Leaked OS 9900/9930 7.1.0.649

Installed on my brand new 9900. no problems until now to report.
Seems that some applications ( mainly smartguard, google talk , Yahoo chat and similar) reinstalls or fade from MyWorld without any apparent reason.
A very quick help from SmartGuard/Snap Secure immediately solved my issues.

Will be happy to post new experiences, as soon as they come.

Regards

No, you can only install it on the model it was designed for.

The 8520 is an entry level device with limited memory and CPU. OS 7 is for devices that were specifically designed for it.

Can anyone check to see if this has the AT&T microphone bug like before?

Now under test since more than four days.
No evidence of failure, no evidence of incoherent behaviour of any app installed.
May I know which is the "ATT Mic Failure" reported: maybe i can confrm the presence or the absenceof it.
Nice evening.

You would have to be on AT&T, that is what makes it an AT&T specific issue.

As ZombieBerry said it is an AT&T issue. The last time I checked AT&T had still not issued an OS 7.1 for its devices. There must be some sort of incompatability between the AT&T network and OS 7.1.
Strange that after all these months this issues has not been solved.

According to some, they have released 7.1.0.694 via the Desktop Manager(Not yet available from the AT&T software download page). They have also released official OS builds for the 9810 and 9860.
