Internet Blackberry Email Setup on T-Mobile

Does anyone know how to get to the blackberry email setup site on T-Mobile? This is where you can set up new email accounts and add filters.

There used to be a link on the T-Mobile website and its no longer there. Customer service said that they "no longer support this service". It would really suck if you can't set up filters anymore or request a service book anymore.

Any help would be great. Thanks.

T-mobile US? UK? anywhere else in the world?

sg60611 03-30-2010 10:51 AM

Sorry, T-Mobile US

lol, they are pretty silly.

You can access it from your device... Manage Internet Mail or Personal EMail Setup.

I can't find the set up new email icon. What happens if I deleted it?

Is there somewhere in Options that I can access these settings?

JSanders 03-30-2010 10:59 AM

You can't delete it.

yes, look in options, settings, tools. Look in all folders.

sg60611 03-30-2010 11:05 AM

Okay. Found it. Can't see where I can add filters though.

Try editing an account, although if I recall correctly, you might only be able to that on the desktop version.

For service books, look at Help.

It doesn't seem like you add filters on the phone, So is there a link to get to the desktop version?

Thanks for all the help.

Once you log in on tmobile with your phone number and password, the menu bar up top that says "Manage/Connect and share/shop/learn/support"

Hover over connect and share and then click on "configure email" on the line that pops out underneath it

sg60611 03-30-2010 11:56 AM

I tried what you suggested and it let's me manage an @tmo email address not my gmail account. Am I not in the right place?

TheRinger 03-30-2010 12:02 PM

Don't see a button below the email address that says "set up email"?

Click that, tell it your gmail address and password, and then it'll be listed as one you can manage also

i get an error message when i do that

sg60611, do you very DEFINITELY have a BlackBerry Data Plan on Tmobile?

sg60611 03-30-2010 12:25 PM

Turns out that they had the wrong phone listed for me on Tmo and once I got that fixed I could access my email settings.

Thanks, everyone!

I've seen several users with the Data Plan canceled who conveniently forgot to mention it. And, the service book from the prior plan is still accessible on the device. hehe.

Hence, it's always a valid question, regardless. :)
