Fantastic orange upgrade story
Here's my story.
Have been with orange for over three years. But after 15 months on my 12 month contract o2 almost got me with their iphone 3g.
So i went to the store where friend of mine works ( so i could get 30% discount on the line rental ) but somehow i haven't passed the credit check (i reckon it's because the property that i'm renting at the moment -i suspect that previous tenant's havent paid all the bills). So that got me really upset,so i rang orange and tried the usual trick of pretending that i'm about to leave the network to get as much as i can from them.As i spoke to the girl from cs,i gave her the deal details that i would get from o2 (also mentioned the 30% discount). After waiting politely for 3 minutes , she came back to me with what sounded a great : 600 minutes , 500 messages blackberry email and internet ,free blackberry bold and all of that for 22.50 per month.
She got me already with the above deal , but to my surprise after further 5 minutes of conversation she said that she is able to do it all for 17.50 yes guys thats 17.50 per month for a free handset , more than enough minutes and messages an blackberry service.
That's my first Blackberry handset , but to enjoy it have to wait till 6pm for the delivery
Ps.Sorry guys for such a long post , but wanted to share with you my experience.

Well done! All about talking to Orange retentions, they have the power to do anything.

For me it was:

Free bold, free bluetooth headset (don't ask don't get!), free insurance, 1100 mobile & international minutes, 200 texts, unlimited landline minutes, unlimited data, BES functionality, orange world traveller, for 30 a month :)

"Hang on sir I will put you through to retentions" - YES!!! :)

Wirelessly posted

That is excellent. 17.50 is roughly $35!!
