8703e phone calls not connecting
 

I"m still having problems making phone calls. I have to either turn off unit and turn back on or turn off wireless then back on. Like resetting unit when i have to make a call. If i do that i can make several calls right away, but if i wait a few minutes then try to make a call the BB just stays in "calling" mode and will not "connect". I receive calls fine, just cannot make calls without resetting. os is 4.2. any ideas without reloading?

this happens to me periodically.....not sure why. Additionally, when I attempt to answer a call by using the track wheel I get disconnected.....these problems are new for me with 4.2.1.110

Have you tried calling *22899 and reprograming the device? Verizon recommends reprogramming every 30 days.

I don't have Verizon, but that sounds ridiculous that they recommend reprogramming your phone every 30 days!
