screen stays black when receiving calls?

Ok so for whatever reason when I have my curve's keys locked, the screen stays black when I get an incoming call. It just rings and the led flashes but the screen stays off. Anyone know how to stop this from happening???

Also, it would be helpful if you provide more details like OS version, what you *have* tried in the past... That way we don't have to keep guessing.

OS version 4.5.0.77
And I've tried a battery pull, and changing the theme, and all that nothing seems to work.
