I set it up with my account earlier today and have synced a few times, it's been great so far. I blogged my initial impressions at:

not verizon
vzw 8830 sync works amazingly.
|
Google Apps sync status:
It seems to work Bi-Directionally for your personal calendar: It seems to work Uni-Directionally (Gcal to Berry) for group calendars Anyone else have similar results? |

in the help section
the google site indicates.
Day-to-Day Use Google Sync is configured to synchronize with the default calendar of your Google Account. You can select other calendars to be downloaded as well, but you can't add events to these calendars from the handheld. The Google Sync menu includes the following screens: so yes it appears as what you found with group calenders is correct |

Then I deleted the event I just created from BB, it deleted the same one from GCal. So, I would say the sync works 2 ways and it works very well. |

if anyone has a curve 8320, could they try to run this in "wifi only" mode and see if it still syncs?
|
It's not syncing existing calendar entries from my BB to the empty Google Calendar.

And why is it that you have to delete all synchronized events (from the BB) to log out of google sync?

Here's another thought...... if you mark a calendar entry on the BB as private will it still sync to the google calendar? |
I only get unidirectional synch (GCal --> BB) too.
 could this be an ATT thing? |
