Vintage, new (never used) Smythson of Bond Street red, crossgrain lambskin leather notebook, likely produced between the late 80s and early 2000s (read more below). Pristine condition except one mark on the back cover, detailed below as well. MSRP of $200+.
This item was gifted to me by a well-traveled loved one who collects rare books and artwork. Lovely as it is, I simply don’t have a need for it, hence why I’m selling it here (and why there’s a mark on the back, from where he lovingly but shouldn’t have attached part of the wrapping paper — I have priced the item accordingly and fairly). The binding is completely tight; the pages are clean; the edges still have their metallic gold effects without any bends or smudges. There is no sewn-in bookmark.
Great to give as a gift, or to keep as something special for yourself.
