Vintage letterpress Printer's block. A VERY strange looking character. I wish we knew the story behind the artwork. Maybe you do. I do not think they are one of my relatives.Metal plate tacked to a wood block. No writing or other identifying marks on the block. Block measures about 1 1/4" wide x 3 1/16". It is standard "type high" or .9186". Image is still sharp on block and it does not show excessive wear.This block came from a print shop in Baltimore, MD (E.B.Read) .Questions? Please ask.Thanks.Ken
