Great for Radio Shack Realistic HTX-100’s S613. Electrically identical. Mechanically very similar.
- Bend its shield/mounting tabs under encoder
- Shaft is slightly shorter — not loose at all, but don’t push knob on too hard
- Double check alignment through front plastic with knob before tightening locking nut to metal front
- Be careful to not bend shaft
- Pins are 100% identical and solder through PCB
- Rotations/tuning speed are identical
- Must slightly bend/open upper part of metal case thru-hole to fit encoder threads through
- Nearly identical tactile feel to original, but slightly firmer, likely due to being new

- 1/2 to 2ms incremental quadrature 2-bit/channel output based on turning speed
- 20 pulses per revolution (with 20 detents)
- 11.8mm x 12mm body
- 6mm dia., 20mm long D-shape shaft
