It is 400 lumens and doubles as a light and warming bulb. This bulb has a life of 2,000 hours on the average.This bulb can be universally used in many different medium to large size popcorn machine poppers (i.e. Great Northern, Funtime, etc.
- The bulb size is 3.9" long x 2.5" wide with aluminum base. Measure your bulb before ordering to make sure. If this is not the size for you, then check our Popcorn Bulbs website. We have MANY different sizes and wattages to choose from there.
- Shipping is no extra when you buy 2 or more bulbs, so stock up and be ready when that next bulb blows.
- Tip 1:Don't buy LED or CFL bulbs for a popcorn machine if you expect to generate any heat, since they won't.
- Tip 2:Don't buy any warming bulb with a higher wattage than your popcorn machine allows. Most machines have a 60W maximum, but some can accept a warmer 75W bulb (our premium listing) and higher. Going higher than the manufacturers recommendation may pose a fire risk.
- Tip 3:Non-coated bulbs, like we sell, may heat better than coated bulbs. So, shatterproof is not always better. Bulbs do not normally break, so there is no need for a shatterproof bulb anyway.
