Here's an uncommon twin coil differential cathedral galvanometer manufactured ca. 1916-1918 at the Silvertown Telegraph works in London. Condition is very good throughout, with nice original green enamel on the housing and normal tarnish on the brass parts. Dial is crisp, glass lens is clear and undamaged. The instrument comes with its original wood box, which shows normal but not excessive wear, as you can see in the photographs. Appears to be working properly. Needle responds to light voltages applied via binding posts in back. No additional testing has been done. Galvanometer measures approximately 5 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 3". Case measures approximately 6" x 6" x 3". Shipping weight, properly packed, will be about 14 lb. That's about it.
