Application: Type NM-B (non-metallic 90° C) typically used in indoor applications inside wall cavities and attics.Please see Article 334 of the National Electrical Code (NEC) for further applications.
Construction: 3 conductor, 8 gauge stranded construction has the insulated conductors (Black, Red and White) twisted.The ground wire is wrapped with fire-retardant paper and twisted between the insulated conductors.Ground wire is 10 gauge solid.The entire construction is wrapped with a paper separator before applying the jacket which is black on 8 gauge NM-B. PVC (polyvinyl chloride) jacket is applied over the complete assembly.
Conductors: Stranded conductors are soft, uncoated copper per ASTM B3.
Standards: UL 719: E9810UL 83: E15119ASTM B3
