Sorry about the btool stuff, forgot that we aren't interested in that. My blackberry does have the Mass Storage Mode Support On, it is set to Auto Enable when connected, and there is no encryption set on the card.
I have tried to run modprobe usb_storage, but that didn't do anything after unplugging-replugging the device.
Let me try in Windows to ensure that its either the OS or the Pearl.
