Default Problem with Sim card

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, I've recently bought a 7230 BB which I'm using as a phone for now but after 2 weeks of working succesfully my signal shows up as SOS. The sim card is Vodafone (taken from old mobile) and works ok in my old mobile. The 7230 is locked to Vodafone. If I go to scan for networks it shows up only T- Mobile and Orange (in the UK here) but no Vodafone. In Status I get signal strength of -74. In Options/ Sim...Alt + MEPD I get ..

SIM.......................Disabled
Network.................Active
Network Subset......Disabled
Service provider.....Disabled
Corporate..............Disabled

I'm new to BB and would like any help in fixing this problem,

thanks

Iain
