Maybe one of you have experienced this issue - noone at Verizon (or their RIM contact has):

When i highlight more than one SMS message in message inbox (combined w/emails) and engage the track wheel, I have an option to file messages. When selected the SMS Folder with 3 subfolders is presented: SMS Inbox, SMS Outbox, and SMS Saved Messages. After filing the messages in the latter, I am returned to the Messages Screen. Subsequently, I deleted these messages from this screen since they were safely filed away

Well, when I went to retreive them by selecting the VIEW FOLDER option only two of the three SMS subfolders (In and Out box) is available. There is no SMS SAVED MESSAGES. Nor are these message available under the view saved messages.

Comments, thoughts, or suggestions other than the obvious - don't file SMS Message, lol.

I don't know if this will help but when you are looking at the regular list of combined messages, push the v button. On my 8703e it goes directly to all my saved messages.

Thanks for the effort. But V is set up for my voicemail speed dial

just try pushing it once quickly, not holding it down like you would for speed dial

Yes Brady, that infact brings up the saved messages...a new shortcut for me.

HOWEVER, as I mentioned above, SMS Messages filed under the SMS Folder-subcategory SMS Saved Message are no where to be found.... I guess they are in Rim la-la land
