I am trying to install BES Small Business Enterprise 4.1.4 server on SBS 2003 server yet the documention doesn't explain how-to setup the BESAdmin account on a machine that is running AD.

Is there any documentation availale to explain how-to install BES on SBS?

Oh btw even though I have SQL 2000 Server installed SBE 4.1.x still installed itself as a MSDE database. Uhm, so I am wondering if I should remove SQL 2000 Server from SBS if SBE isn't going to use it?

eh, the monkey is cool ... I take that only as a compliment.

I'd definitely remove SQL; save your resources for the rest of the services that the box will be working on.

I am stuck now, I have followed all the steps including creating the BESAdmin account before starting the first task in the link you gave me for setting up the rights and stuff on AD.

TASK 4 doesn't work, I do not see the BESAdmin in the Exchange security TAB and
TASK 5 doesn't work, I do not now what they mean by the appropriate domain container?

As for Task 4, I went over everything with a fine tooth comb and tripple checked it nothing is/was out of place unless there is something I need to add to the BESAdmin account, does it need to have another Member Of added to it other than Domain Users?

have you set the view-only administrator permission? is any group that the besadmin account is in already listed as an admin or full admin?
