I had a working Exchange 2010 environment with BES 5.0 SP1 MR2 installed. This was an all-in-one server (mailbox, hub, cas). I installed two new server 2008 r2 servers, installed exchange 2010 mailbox only role, created a dag with the two and created new mailbox databases synchronized to both. I moved all mailboxes over to these new ones, then removed the mailbox role from our main server.

Now we have our CAS/Hub transport server and the two DAG-based servers with the mailbox role. However, the BES, although it can lookup on the cas server to find the besadmin account and also find and add additional user accounts, cannot seem to send e-mail to them.

Is there something I am missing? My next step is to delete a few users and try to update their blackberry devices as though it is a brand new activation - but it would be best to just move them over.
