Hi All , new to here hoping to receive assistance in regards to BES. I am currently in the process of installing BES v5 on Virtual machine, however stuck at the database information part. I have commenced install & as part of this it check and commenced OK then rebooted. As the old BES that is currently in production has a config file i tried to point location however rejected due to requiring new config file. I am trying to create on on the VM itself that will have BES running - is this OK ??? Have tried FQDN , username/password no avail.
After reboot it default to database location being remote and I cannot change it back to local !
I have tried running dbcreate and adjust the besmgmt.fcg file to suit organisationl need and noted there is a line in there to point DB file to local however not playing the game.
