I have a BB8310 that I have just recently added to our BES server.

Since adding it, the SMS feature is 'behaving oddly'.

SMS messages can be sent out, and are received on non-BB hardware with no issue. However, the replies do not come back.

When an SMS is sent to another BB, it appears on the receiving phone in BBM instead, and again replies do not get back to the sending phone.

Could this be a firmware issue? A service book issue?

Probably an IT Policy issue. Did it work correctly beforehand?

Yes, it worked fine before. Other BBs on the same BES function fine with SMS, so it doesn't _look_ like a policy issue.

Battery pull on the BB?

Are you sure that SMS is properly activated on the device?
