Unhappy Back Lid Door Issues

Please Login to Remove!

I opened the back of my Pearl today to put in my 1GB memory card. Everything was going good until the little silver metal piece that keeps the back door closed fell off. I can put the piece back on and then put the back lid on, everything stays secure, but whenever I want to open my phone the silver piece comes off.

This is very frustrating because I just recently purchased my Pearl in Jan.

Does anyone else have this problem? Will Rogers exchange my Pearl for a new one? I am planning to go to Rogers today, any suggests on what I should say?

This has been a problem on Pearls. You're not the first. I would mention that.

This is a valid warranty claim.

Your phone is covered for one year from date of purchase so call Rogers and get a new phone. They are NOT going to tell you to just take the pain.

Get a new phone, simple enough.

I had a bit of trouble with tmobile, but they are sending me a new phone, and better not charge me the $100 for abuse, because it just plain fell off some time without noticing it.
